CNT - what is it and why we're using it
CNT or better known as Carbon NanoTubes. So what is it?
A carbon nanotube is a tube-shaped material, made of carbon, having a diameter measuring on the nanometer scale. CNT are unique because the bonding between the atoms is very strong and the tubes can have extreme aspect ratios. The tensile strength of carbon nanotubes is approximately 100 times greater than that of steel of the same diameter.

Is this material safe? Yes, CNT is similar to graphite pencil material (which is a graphene/carbon material), just it has excellent properties of corrosion resistance, yield strength, density, thermo- and electrical conductivity. Currently there is a lot of research going on in medical applications, as well as aeronautics and nanotechnology.
S'j jewelry pieces enforced with CNT - is the future of new generation jewelry and accessories which is making it's first steps and is one of the priority materials for further development.
